Young Adults (18-21 years)

It is not uncommon for an individual to have no dental problems until they leave home for the first time.  The dramatic change in lifestyle can alter the environment of the oral cavity and begin reeking havoc on the teeth.  You may see several new cavities or the beginning stages of periodontal disease.  Existing fillings may begin to fail, and some of the teeth may need crowns, root canals, implants, or bridges.  This is where caring for our teeth while we are young will pay off, or lack of care will begin to manifest itself in the form of disease.
